During the day, solar panels often generate more energy than you use straight away. Some of this is fed back into the grid, whilst you draw power from it again in the evening. With the SolarVault 3 Pro Max AC home battery, you can store this surplus and use it later in your home. This allows you to increase your own consumption of solar energy and get more out of your solar panels.
This makes the system a practical home battery solution for households looking to expand their existing solar panel setup with energy storage. The SolarVault 3 Pro Max AC has been specially developed for homes with an existing PV system. Thanks to its AC-connected operation, the system is connected to the AC side of the home and works in conjunction with your current inverter or micro-inverters.
This means that solar panels do not need to be reconnected and no additional PV cabling is required. When used with a compatible energy meter, surplus solar energy is automatically stored and used later when energy consumption in the home increases.
2500W bidirectional AC power
The SolarVault 3 MaPro x AC offers 2500W bidirectional AC power per unit. This means that the system can not only charge, but also continuously supply up to 2500W to your home.
In practice, this is sufficient to power several household appliances simultaneously. Think of lighting, a fridge, a freezer and the internet, whilst a washing machine or dishwasher is running at the same time. The system therefore takes over a substantial portion of daily electricity consumption.
Please note, however, that the battery must be connected to a separate circuit in order to utilise the full AC output power of 2500W safely and in accordance with regulations. If the battery is connected to a shared circuit, you may feed a maximum of 800W into the domestic grid. A shared circuit is a circuit to which other appliances are also connected.
Storage capacity
The integrated storage capacity is 7,56kWh per unit and can be expanded with up to five BP2500 battery modules per tower. This increases the capacity to 15.12 kWh per tower.
For larger installations, up to three 15.12kWh/2500W units can be connected in parallel. Together, they provide 45.36kWh of storage capacity and up to 7500W of AC power, making the system suitable for homes with a higher simultaneous load (heat pump, electric car charging, etc.).
Energy management & dynamic tariffs
When used in conjunction with a smart meter, the system provides real-time insight into consumption and feed-in. It supports various operating modes, including self-consumption and dynamic tariff control.
With dynamic energy tariffs, the system can automatically charge when electricity is cheaper and discharge when tariffs rise. Control and monitoring are carried out via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or Ethernet in the Jackery app.
